Hi there, this is Shoaib!
I’m a first-year Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, working under the esteemed Dr. Hongbin Li as a proud recipient of the Provost Doctoral Fellowship. My research focuses on weak celestial signal estimation in radio astronomy, where I get to uncover signals hidden deep within the radio frequency interference. My research interests also include signal processing, RF sensing, V2X communication, and IoT.
I completed my undergraduate degree in EEE from BUET in 2023, where I explored vehicular communication and networking during my thesis. Outside of research, I’m passionate about travel, exploring diverse cuisines, and staying active as an amateur athlete—interests that fuel my curiosity and determination. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals!
Best,
Shoaib Ahmed
