Many adventure travelers worldwide often found 'trekking in the Himalayas' listed at the top on their bucket lists. The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek in Nepal offers an excellent opportunity to fulfill that desire. Renowned as one of the world's most stunning and popular trekking routes, the journey to the base camp of Annapurna unveils a magical landscape. This involves passing through dense tropical forests, picturesque villages, and towering ice-crowned peaks, including Annapurna I, the tenth highest mountain globally. Ascending to an altitude of 4,130 meters during this 7-day trek (which can extend to 10 days with the inclusion of Poon Hill), you'll likely find the experience worth every challenge you might encounter. The sunrise from Poon Hill, against the backdrop of snow-capped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs, is a sight that could easily make it onto your list of top ten most breathtaking views.
Having completed this trek in November 2022 with my friends, I'd like to share the itinerary and details we followed. It's worth noting that if you're traveling from Bangladesh.
